All commands issued to the switch, and all information reported from the switch can be displayed on the screen for easy access.

Customized logs can be created of all alarms or messages of specific types during a specified time range. These can be created to capture information beginning with upcoming messages, as well as existing information previously stored in the master log files.

Smartech answer – With a Smartech, you can establish who made changes to the translation tables, when they were made and the exact details of the alterations.

Smartech answer – Smartech’s store all information electronically. When needed, you have the ability to print specific information. Otherwise, the costly, messy printouts are eliminated, as well as the need to purchase a massive quantity of paper and ribbon. In addition, the storage space required to house mountains of paper is no longer necessary.
Are there times when an alarm occurs or your have problems at a central office that is unmanned?
Smartech answer – Smartech’s will save alarm information, contact another Smartech, or a person on a voice line to announce the alarm occurrence. A craftsperson can then dial into the system using a remote Smartech to review alarm information. You can then make the determination whether you must travel to the site or if resolving the problem can be as simple as issuing a command.
